Exploring Watercolour Texture

I played with different materials to create a variety of effects on watercolour. For example I put rice, lentils, sea salt and table salt on wet paint to see what marks were left. I have then adapted some of these techniques in producing pictures. In the last picture (the beach scene), I used cling-film for the sea.

Watercolour Playtime

Just played around with watercolour washes and then a little design or two in the foreground. Here is a couple that went ok.

Berlin Scrapbook/ sketchbook

So here is my Berlin Sketchbook/ scrapbook. I never know what to call it. It's just a collection of drawings, doodles, flyers, bits of paper, photos and such from my visit to Berlin. I've sort of cut them up, stuck them, painted over them, etc. Just really me experimenting with different materials and styles to reflect my experience and feelings of the few days.

I haven't put up every page because they contain like personal information or whatever, which probably isn't wise to publish online.
